The M.A.P. World family of companies, Marketing Advertising Promotions, Inc. , Medi-M.A.P., Inc. and M.A.P. Systems, Inc., may collect, rent and/or buy confidential lists with business profile data on behalf of its clients (primarily pharmaceutical companies).  This list information may be used for product oriented mailings as well as a basis for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems which allow our clients’ sales representatives to monitor and record their sales activities.  All such information whether collected, rented or purchased is stored and used in a manner to protect it’s confidentiality and adheres to the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor framework and U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Marketing Advertising Promotions, Inc. has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor privacy principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. The M.A.P. World privacy policy outlines our overall policy and procedures for implementing the Principles, including the types of data we gather, how we use it, the notice and choice specific individuals have relating the use of and their ability to correct that data. This privacy policy applies to all personal data received by The M.A.P. World whether in electronic, paper or verbal format.

Definitions

M.A.P. only processes Personal Data in a way that is compatible with the purpose for which it was collected and authorized by the individual. To the extent necessary for those purposes,M.A.P.  shall take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data is accurate, complete and current for its intended use.

M.A.P. allows an individual to access their Personal Data to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information.

Our site uses an order form for visitors to request information and for customers to order products and services. We collect visitor/customer contact information (like their name, address, telephone number, email address etc.), unique identifiers (like their account number), financial information (like their credit card numbers), and demographic information (like their zip code, job title, physician specialty etc.). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and requested information about M.A.P. to our visitors and customers. We also use contact information from the order form to send other information about our company services. The customer’s contact information is used to contact the customer when necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the customer for products and services that were ordered. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers) are collected from Web site customers to verify the user’s identity. Demographic and profile data is also collected at our sites.
